Hariom’s Tailor is a family-owned bespoke tailoring business with a rich heritage dating back to 1937, when Navalrai Vaswani established Toko Vaswani, a textile shop in Surabaya, Indonesia. Built on a foundation of quality fabrics, personalised service, and exceptional craftsmanship, the business expanded to Pasar Baru in Jakarta in 1970 and opened its flagship store in Pasar Baru Selatan in 1985. Following a thoughtful renovation in 2022, Hariom’s continues to honour its traditions while embracing modern luxury and contemporary tailoring. Specialising in bespoke suits and personalised wardrobe solutions, the company combines precision cutting, detailed fittings, and traditional Indonesian hand-finishing techniques to create garments tailored to each client's lifestyle and preferences. Its bespoke process includes an extensive anatomical assessment to achieve a comfortable fit, balanced silhouette, and lasting shape. With a collection of over 3,000 premium fabrics sourced from renowned Italian and British mills, including Ermenegildo Zegna, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Dormeuil, and Holland & Sherry, Hariom’s offers distinctive options for business attire, weddings, smart casual wear, shirts, batik garments, and uniforms. The company's philosophy views tailoring as a discipline built on understanding individuals rather than simply producing clothing. Through personal consultations, skilled craftsmanship, and a commitment to lasting quality, Hariom’s Tailor aims to create timeless, versatile wardrobes that reflect individuality, confidence, and Jakarta's distinctive sartorial heritage.
